Job Summary
Key Requirements
- Part-qualified in a professional body (ICASL / CIMA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation) or a degree holder in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years experience in accounting and related functions
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting standards
- Basic knowledge of tax compliance (direct & indirect) is a plus
- Familiarity with EPF and RAMIS portals is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Xero MYOB Sage or similar systems
- Advanced skills in MS Excel Word & PowerPoint
- Strong analytical communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines with confidence
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable processes including invoice verification payment processing and vendor reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of financial transactions related to accounts payable.
- Assist in preparing and processing employee reimbursements and payables.
- Support the handling of accounts receivable activities as needed.
- Participate in tax compliance and reporting tasks under guidance.
- Assist in treasury operations including cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations.
- Perform general accounting duties such as journal entries and ledger maintenance.
