Software Development Manager, Payroll Tech

Were building a greenfield near real-time payroll platform replacing decades of legacy infrastructure to process pay end-to-end for over a million employees across 60 countries. Your job will be to lead a world-class software development team in Barcelona driving the design and delivery of core platform components from architecture through production and developing the team that ships them.

- Build and lead a team of software developers.
- Lead teams to build and support software with the highest standards.

- Experience in engineering team management
- Experience in engineering
- Experience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
