Responsibilities:

• Support and develop new integration functionality and components.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to refine and implement requirements.
  
• Refactor and improve code to ensure maintainability scalability and adaptability.
  
• Follow and contribute to development standards processes and best practices. Evaluate and improve application performance reliability and availability.
  
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
  
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
  
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on system defects and production issues.
  
• Participate in building packaging and deployment processes.
  
• Execute functional test scenarios during development.
  
• Contribute to team collaboration and where applicable mentor junior developers
  

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related field or Matric with between 5-10 years of hands-on development experience within a custom software development environment with multiple production releases per year.
  
• Solid proficiency C# with proven expertise in developing enterprise-grade web applications. (VB is an advantage).
  
• 5-10 years experience as a Web Developer in a application environment and at least 10 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
  
• Solid experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript Angular HTML5 and React.
  
• Understanding of advanced Knowledge of RESTful frameworks with experience working with JSON and XML-based data exchange.
  
• Working knowledge of web application security principles (OWASP) including common vulnerabilities and best-practice prevention techniques.
  
• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall along with associated tools processes and best practices.
