Warehouse Materials Controller

Our client a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in Jacobs is looking to fill the position of Warehouse Materials Controller.

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Distribution Controller the successful applicant will be responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain function by optimising inventory investment ensuring efficient and consistent warehouse throughput and managing distribution networks to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within a safe and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Minimizing customer complaints.
• Accurate inventory control.
• Ensuring on time deliveries.
• Maintaining compliance with safety and transport regulations.
• Supervising Warehouse staff.
• Compliance with ISO policies and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of stock records and minimize stock variances and to thoroughly investigate and analyze discrepancies and accuracy of data capture in respect of stock transactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate
• Diploma/Certificate in Logistics Supply Chain or related field (Advantageous)
• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar position

Other:

• Computer literate i.e. MS office/computer (Word excel Syspro etc)
• Code 8 Drivers license
• Forklift License
