Job Summary
Our client a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in Jacobs is looking to fill the position of Warehouse Materials Controller.
Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Distribution Controller the successful applicant will be responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain function by optimising inventory investment ensuring efficient and consistent warehouse throughput and managing distribution networks to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within a safe and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Minimizing customer complaints.
- Accurate inventory control.
- Ensuring on time deliveries.
- Maintaining compliance with safety and transport regulations.
- Supervising Warehouse staff.
- Compliance with ISO policies and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy of stock records and minimize stock variances and to thoroughly investigate and analyze discrepancies and accuracy of data capture in respect of stock transactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate
- Diploma/Certificate in Logistics Supply Chain or related field (Advantageous)
- 3 - 5 years experience in a similar position
Other:
- Computer literate i.e. MS office/computer (Word excel Syspro etc)
- Code 8 Drivers license
- Forklift License
