Technical Sales Representative

Secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship approach

Ensure that account customers are within the agreed parameters of their credit limit

Ensure that a calling cycle has been established and all customers are seen within the cycle

Monthly sales targets are set and all endeavours must be made to achieve them

Attend regular sales meetings as per requirements of the sales manager/branch manager

All company monies must be accounted for whether collected from the customer or the completion of expense vouchers

Follow up all customer queries

Manage the customers account

Research and implement methods to ensure organic base growth

Planning of calling cycle to co-ordinate with logistics and technical groups

Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs problems interests and all competitive activities and potential for new products and services

Assist with all other duties as specified by management

Grade 12

Tertiary qualification will be an advantage

Minimum 2 years relevant experience gained in the baking / confectionery industry

Proficiency in MS Office

Valid drivers license
