Our client a leading organisation operating within theautomotive industry is seeking to employ aStatistical Support Assistantto join their team in Midrand Gauteng.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance or data professional with strong Microsoft Excel skills and a passion for data analysis. The successful candidate will support the Motorplan and Serviceplan functions by producing accurate financial reports analysing claims and policy data and providing insights that support pricing forecasting and business decision-making. The role offers exposure to SAS Microsoft Copilot and advanced reporting tools within a highly analytical environment.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in a finance reporting business intelligence or analytical role.
- Previous experience working with financial data.
- Experience within the automotive industry.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of financial reporting principles.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Exposure to Power BI and SAS.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot.
- Ability to analyse and interpret large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good report writing and presentation skills.
- Support the Motor plan department with analytical and statistical activities.
- Provide insight to support pricing forecasting liability management.
- Statistical analyse supporting motor plan pricing and contract evaluation.
- Financial forecasts and liability calculations.
- Risk analysis reports highlighting potential financial exposure.
- Actuarial input and supporting data where required.
- Accurate timely reports suitable for management decision-making.
