Duties & Responsibilities

The Role:

Planned and unplanned maintenance of solar plants
Annual servicing of solar plants and report completion
Bi-annual visual site inspections of solar plants and report completion
Troubleshooting on-site inverters (Huawei & SolarEdge predominantly) communications wiring issues panel issues etc.
Logging of job cards for all site call outs
Inverter installation and commissioning when required
Solar panel inspection
Solar panel replacement
String testing
Earth cable replacement
Ethernet switches 3G routers PLC Bluelog cluster control and meter replacements
Thermal switch and contactor installation
Communication board wiring and maintenance
Circuit breaker replacement and fuse replacement
UPS configuration and protection relay maintenance
Managing solar panel cleaning team
Use of the following devices: String tester IV curve tester Megar tester clamp tester thermal image camera and CAT5 cable tester

Soft Skills:

Be fun and chilled
Attention to detail
Integrity and honesty

Experience:

Solar experience essential
Electrical qualifications and experience an advantage
Valid drivers license
MS Office proficient
