Job Summary
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for building services design Join a leading consulting engineering environment where youll take the lead on commercial residential retail and industrial projects delivering innovative electrical solutions from concept through to construction.
Job Description:
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects
- Prepare electrical designs calculations and technical documentation
- Design MV/LV reticulation lighting small power standby power and distribution systems
- Coordinate with architects contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation
- Ensure designs comply with SANS standards industry regulations and client specifications
- Manage project programmes budgets and client relationships
- Mentor junior engineers and support the successful delivery of projects
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Electrical Building Services Consulting
- Strong experience in the design of MV/LV electrical systems lighting and small power installations
- Experience on commercial industrial retail healthcare or residential developments
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Revit experience advantageous)
- Strong project management client liaison and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality technical solutions independently
Qualification:
- BEng / BSc in Engineering
- ECSA Registration (PrEng or eligible to register) advantageous
