Job Summary
Our client in the Digital Communications sector is looking for a Senior Solution / Implementation Architect on a contract duration of 6 months.
Role Purpose
The Senior Solution / Implementation Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable secure and high-performing data and analytics solutions in accordance with enterprise architecture standards. Working within an Agile delivery squad the role translates business and technical requirements into solution designs that support data ingestion integration analytics and machine learning initiatives. The role operates under the governance of the Enterprise/Data Architect and is accountable for solution implementation rather than enterprise architecture ownership.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement solution architecture for data analytics and machine learning initiatives in line with enterprise architecture standards.
- Design scalable data ingestion architectures for complex data sources including telecommunications network events CRM platforms digital channels and third-party systems.
- Define logical and physical data models analytical data layers feature stores and integration patterns to support reporting analytics and AI/ML use cases.
- Develop solution designs that optimise performance scalability availability and maintainability.
- Ensure solutions comply with data governance privacy security and data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with DataCo IT Operating Companies (OpCos) and third-party vendors to integrate enterprise data platforms and applications.
- Produce architecture artefacts solution designs technical specifications and implementation documentation.
- Support development teams during implementation testing and production deployment.
- Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Contribute to architecture reviews design assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- 810 years experience in solution architecture data engineering or enterprise application implementation.
- Experience designing enterprise data platforms data integration and analytics solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform) data lakes data warehouses and modern data architectures.
- Experience with API integration ETL/ELT frameworks event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Knowledge of machine learning platforms and feature store architectures is advantageous.
- Experience within telecommunications digital services or large enterprise environments is preferred.
- TOGAF cloud architecture or solution architecture certifications are advantageous.
