Job Summary
TMA Proactive Partners is recruiting on behalf of a client in the financial services / asset management sector for a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Developer.
This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who can translate complex business requirements into meaningful Business Intelligence (BI) solutions support better decision-making and strengthen reporting capability across the organization.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical BI development skills advanced SQL expertise and the ability to work confidently with business stakeholders in a regulated fast-paced environment.
- Gather analyze and translate business requirements into BI solutions.
- Design develop and maintain end-to-end business intelligence solutions.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources to create a reliable single source of truth.
- Perform relational and dimensional data modelling.
- Develop reports dashboards and analytical insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
- Ensure data quality consistency and performance across BI solutions.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting capability and data processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members where required.
- Relevant degree in Information Systems Computer Science Data Analytics or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience as a BI Analyst Developer or similar role
- Strong experience with Power BI and/or Qlik
- Advanced SQL skills
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling
- Proven experience delivering successful BI reporting or analytics projects
- Strong analytical numerical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work with complex datasets and convert data into clear business insights
Experience with any of the following will be beneficial:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SSIS
- Snowflake
- Talend
- Qlik
