Company and Job Description:
A reputable and established organisation within the motor industry is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join their finance team as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with strong bookkeeping experience within the motor trade environment and a proven ability to manage key accounting functions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and maintain accurate General Ledger reconciliations
• Review verify and sign off creditors reconciliations and payments
• Process and validate salary inputs for payroll purposes
• Assist with month-end procedures and reporting requirements
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls
• Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting and administrative duties

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Matric (Grade 12)
4 - 5 years experience in a Senior Bookkeeper role
Previous motor trade experience in a similar role is essential
Experience working on Evolve is essential
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
