Scrum Master

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Scrum Master to join a dynamic Project Delivery Centre responsible for driving the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the business. This role is ideal for a servant leader who is passionate about Agile methodologies continuous improvement and enabling teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives and Backlog Grooming.
• Coach and support Agile teams in Scrum principles Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
• Protect the team from scope creep uncontrolled work requests and changing priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners Project Managers stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure alignment across projects and programmes.
• Remove impediments and proactively resolve blockers impacting delivery.
• Drive team collaboration accountability delivery velocity and quality standards.
• Foster a culture of innovation technical discipline and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master within IT or software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum frameworks iterative delivery and DevOps principles.
• Excellent facilitation coaching stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Insurance industry experience will be advantageous.
• Ability to lead with a servant leadership mindset and empower self-organising teams.
