An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Residence Manager to take full responsibility for the operational and administrative management of a student accommodation property. This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can effectively balance property performance student satisfaction and financial outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe well-maintained and engaging living environment for students while ensuring compliance efficient operations and optimal occupancy levels.

- Manage day-to-day building operations
- Create and oversee maintenance work orders
- Manage property systems (MyBuildings PIMS Rise)
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance
- Address student queries complaints and escalations
- Oversee student intake and vacate processes
- Maintain accurate student records
- Coordinate student events and engagement initiatives
- Compile and submit monthly management reports
- Assist with budgeting and financial tracking
- Support occupancy and revenue optimisation initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience
- Previous experience in student accommodation is essential
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Effective problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
