Project Manager (Process / EPC) Water & Wastewater Treatment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full EPC project lifecycles from initiation through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering procurement construction and commissioning teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Drive project planning scheduling resource allocation risk management and reporting.
• Liaise with clients consultants suppliers contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee contractual compliance cost control and change management processes.
• Manage site activities and ensure adherence to health safety environmental and quality requirements.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Lead commissioning and performance testing activities.
• Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future business growth.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng / BSc / BTech in Chemical Process Mechanical Civil or related Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience managing EPC or turnkey projects within the water wastewater process mining industrial or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of process engineering principles and treatment technologies.
• Minimum 510 years project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong commercial contractual and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in project scheduling and project management software.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in water treatment wastewater treatment process plants or utility infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to FEED detailed design procurement construction commissioning and operational handover.
• PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification advantageous.
• Professional registration with ECSA advantageous.
