Our client based in Pretoria is looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Specialist to join their team on a 12-month renewable contract.
This is an onsite role requiring a strong functional background in Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and support.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Relevant Bachelors degree (e.g. HR Industrial Psychology Business Information Systems or Organisational Management)
  • 35 years experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Specialist in project and/or support environments
  • Oracle HCM Cloud certification advantageous
  • Oracle EBS functional experience advantageous
  • Experience with regression testing quarterly updates and UAT coordination
  • Knowledge of SDLC and ITIL/CAB change management processes
  • Strong communication stakeholder engagement problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team success

Duties & responsibilities:
  • Provision of day-to-day functional support for Oracle Fusion HCM modules including issue analysis resolution and user support
  • Configuration and maintenance of HCM system setups aligned to business processes and organisational policies
  • Analysis of business requirements and translation into functional specifications process maps and system configurations
  • Execution and coordination of system testing activities including regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to support releases and enhancements
  • Support for Oracle HCM quarterly releases including defect resolution validation and business readiness activities
  • Development and maintenance of functional documentation including configuration documents business requirements and process flows
  • Management and resolution of functional defects and production issues to ensure system stability and continuity of HR operations
  • Collaboration with technical teams business stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve complex functional issues and drive enhancements
  • Support for critical HR and payroll processing cycles ensuring system availability and functional accuracy during key business periods
  • Facilitation of knowledge transfer sessions and user enablement activities to support adoption and internal capability building
