Luxury Safari Lodge Near Pongola KwaZulu-Natal
Are you an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for exceptional guest service We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team at a luxury five-star safari lodge and deliver unforgettable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation of the restaurant including breakfast lunch dinner bush dinners and private dining experiences.
Lead coach and motivate the restaurant service team.
Ensure exceptional five-star service standards and personalised guest experiences.
Work closely with the Executive Chef Bar and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless service.
Manage staff rosters training and performance.
Monitor stock breakages service equipment and cost controls.
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene food safety and health & safety compliance.
Resolve guest queries professionally and efficiently.
Requirements
Previous Restaurant Manager experience within a large luxury lodge hotel or resort.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent food wine and beverage service knowledge.
Outstanding guest relations and communication skills.
Experience with stock control and restaurant administration.
Ability to work in a fast-paced remote hospitality environment.
Drivers licence preferred.
Bonus: Sommelier qualification or experience will be highly advantageous.
