Laboratory Supervisor

A leading organisation isseeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality medical laboratory services while ensuring compliance with quality standards operational efficiency and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

• Manage laboratory operations including equipment procurement validation maintenance calibration and troubleshooting.
• Develop implement and maintain laboratory processes policies and standard operating procedures.
• Oversee quality assurance programmes and ensure compliance with established laboratory standards.
• Drive laboratory efficiency through effective stock control workflow optimisation and cost management.
• Train mentor and support laboratory staff while promoting continuous professional development.
• Manage supplier relationships assessments and performance reviews.
• Ensure the delivery of accurate reliable and high-quality laboratory services.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Medical Technology or BTech Degree.
• Current HPCSA registration.
• Advanced clinical pathology laboratory experience.
• Strong problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead teams maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
• Adaptable flexible and committed to delivering excellence in a diverse working environment.
