Job Description:
- Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing on concrete composites and steel components
- Prepare cast cure and manage test specimens with exceptional accuracy
- Support prototype assembly and structural load testing alongside engineering teams
- Record analyse and report test results with precision and integrity
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance
- Manage laboratory materials and consumables while maintaining a safe organised work environment
- Minimum 3 - 5 years hands-on experience in a construction materials or engineering testing laboratory
- Strong knowledge of SANS ASTM or ISO testing standards
- Experience operating materials testing equipment and interpreting test data
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a practical hands-on approach
- Experience with fibre-reinforced concrete composites or hydraulic testing equipment will be an advantage
- National Diploma BTech or BSc in Civil Engineering Materials Science
