Our client is seeking a Junior Tech Lead who can combine technical expertise with leadership potential to help guide development initiatives from concept through to deployment.
This role is ideal for a versatile technologist with experience spanning software development data analytics or data science quality assurance and solution design. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams contributing to architecture decisions writing database queries driving quality standards and mentoring team members.

• Lead and contribute to the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Design and develop scalable software solutions using modern development practices.
• Analyse complex technical and business challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Write optimise and maintain SQL queries and database structures.
• Contribute to software architecture and solution design decisions.
• Ensure software quality through testing and QA best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across projects.

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in software development with exposure to technical leadership responsibilities.
• Background in Data Analytics Data Science or a related analytical discipline.
• Previous Quality Assurance or software testing experience.
• Experience with Python Django and .
• Strong SQL and database querying skills.
• Ability and willingness to develop strong expertise in PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to software architecture and system design principles.
• Strong problem-solving communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience within geospatial GIS or AgriTech environments will be advantageous.
