We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Cost Controller to join a dynamic project finance team supporting large-scale construction and renewable energy projects.
This role is ideal for a finance graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in project costing budgeting forecasting reporting and financial analysis while working alongside experienced project managers and finance leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project cost tracking and monitoring against approved budgets
- Support weekly and monthly cost reporting forecasting and variance analysis
- Assist in preparing project cash flow forecasts and financial reports
- Review project expenses and ensure accurate cost allocation
- Support tender and budgeting processes by compiling financial information
- Maintain project financial records and reporting databases
- Assist with revenue tracking cost updates and project profitability analysis
- Collaborate with project teams to gather financial and operational information
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and processes
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements
Requirements
BCom Degree in Accounting Finance Cost & Management Accounting or related field13 years experience in finance project accounting cost control audit or a similar environment
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
Sound understanding of accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Advantageous
- Experience in construction engineering infrastructure or renewable energy environments
- Exposure to project accounting budgeting or forecasting
- Knowledge of IFRS reporting principles
