Job description:
- Process daily accounting transactions and journal entries
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Process creditors and debtors transactions
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Assist with VAT reconciliations and submissions
- Prepare accruals and prepayments
- Support cashbook processing and reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Provide support to the Finance Manager on ad hoc projects and reporting requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Qualification:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Completed SAIPA Articles advantageous
