Job Description
A technology-driven financial-services organisation is strengthening the software that supports core business operations. This is a hands-on opportunity for an Oracle developer who enjoys improving established systems solving difficult production issues and contributing to reliable delivery.
Performance objectives for year one
- Deliver well-tested Oracle Forms and PL/SQL enhancements that meet agreed business requirements.
- Resolve production defects through structured root-cause analysis and durable corrective actions.
- Contribute to reliable REST SOAP or WCF service integrations including clear handling of interfaces and failures.
- Improve the maintainability and performance of existing application and database components.
- Strengthen delivery quality through documentation peer collaboration Agile participation and CI/CD discipline.
- Build practical understanding of the wider business systems and dependencies that the applications support.
