Requirements
Role Purpose
- Accounting for all Movements of Hydrocarbons within Synthesis Application and Spreadsheets
- Identifying Investigating and Mitigating against hydrocarbon losses
- Liaison with Internal (Operations Tech)& External (Transnet Pipelines Surveyors) in calculating Receipted & Delivered Volumes
- Providing a high level of effective support to delivering the Terminal Balance and Entitlements. (Daily Weekly Monthly).
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications Years of Work Experience:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Supply Chain.
- High Level of Operational Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Have excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Be able to operate effectively under pressure.
Key Accountabilities/Objectives:
- Verify Tank Level Data and Generate Daily Stock Sheet
- Verify Data and Capture of Site Movements
- Verification of Tank Dips against PHD should there be a need
- Verify Tank Information and Capture of Shipping Receipt/s and Delivery/s. Reconcile against Vessel Outturn /Receipt and Report.
- Verify Tank Information and Capture of NMPP Movements Reconcile against NMPP Meter/Figures and Report.
- Verify Tank Information and Capture of Barge Loading/s Reconcile against Barge Meter/Figures and Report.
- Capture of Barge Delivery Receipts into Synthesis
- Investigation & Report of the Loss / Gain irrespective of the Tolerance
- Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations.
- Provides relief cover in other accounting areas when required as well as Lead Accountant
- Year End Availability Reconciliation Availability: 31st December and 01 January
