An opportunity is available for a Human Resources Intern to gain practical workplace exposure within a professional business environment. The successful candidate will provide administrative and general support across the Human Resources function including employee record keeping document preparation data capturing BEE compliance administration recruitment support and general office duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with general HR administration and record keeping.
  • Prepare update and maintain employee documents forms registers and records.
  • Capture and update HR-related information accurately.
  • File scan and organise HR documentation.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare HR letters forms internal records and supporting documents where required.
  • Assist with gathering organising and filing documentation relating to BEE compliance.
  • Support data capturing and record keeping for BEE compliance administration.
  • Assist with basic recruitment and onboarding administration.
  • Prepare and organise documentation for new employees.
  • Support communication and coordination relating to HR processes.
  • Assist with general office administration including filing scanning copying and document preparation.
  • Provide reception or visitor support where required.
  • Handle confidential employee and company information with care and discretion.
  • Ensure HR records staff information and business documents are stored securely.

Requirements
  • Must be currently studying towards a qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Basic computer literacy is required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Accuracy in data capturing and record keeping.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
