We are seeking a reliable General Worker with experience in petrochemical or industrial environments. The successful candidate will provide support across various construction and maintenance tasks on site assisting tradespeople and ensuring adherence to strict South African safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist tradespeople (concrete teams steel fixers shutter hands) as required
Carry out general labour tasks such as cleaning moving materials and site preparation
Load and unload equipment and materials safely
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with basic formwork concrete placement or steel handling under supervision
Follow permit-to-work and site-specific safety procedures
Use hand and basic power tools safely under guidance
Comply with all hazardous area protocols and PPE requirements
Perform general housekeeping and waste management duties
Report unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately
