Senior Full Stack Developer ServiceNow Custom GRC & IRM Platforms (Contract)

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a global IT Governance function operating within the second line of defense.

This engineering role is dedicated to the governance enablement and control of Identity & Access Management (IAM) architectures risk profiles and compliance frameworks across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will act as a senior functional expert independently designing coding and migrating custom platform workflows into standardized frameworks.

You will refactor APIs integrate complex business rules with underlying data structures and architect automated applications that bridge the gap between technical infrastructure SAP GRC and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) layers.

Qualifications / Experience

• Relevant Information Technology Qualification or comparable technical degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional working experience in IT explicitly focused within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Mandatory certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Fluent English-speaking capabilities with professional-grade business reading and writing depth.
• Proven track record operating successfully as a team player within a highly integrated international environment.

Essential Skills Requirements

• Multi-language coding fluency with deep expertise across JSON Java and JavaScript programming languages.
• Extensive hands-on experience driving custom application development natively within the ServiceNow platform or a comparable enterprise architecture.
• Direct operational exposure to enterprise Risk and Compliance models and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) workflows.
• Strong engineering familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) topologies.
• Robust system integration experience exposing and consuming data via REST APIs standard NOW APIs and SAP architectures.
• Advanced frontend layout configurations using UI Builder Service Portal Designer Custom Themes and specialized Widgets.
• Proven capability to digest untangle and integrate highly complex business information into elegant logical technical requirements.

Advantageous Skills Requirements

• Proven technical governance knowhow centered on refactoring optimizing and streamlining legacy codebases.
• Practical familiarity with ITIL V4 Foundation principles or post-Foundation extensions (e.g. Create Deliver and Support - CDS).
• Agile Methodology experience alongside Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications.
• Professional implementation credentials specifically ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC) or Integrated Risk Management (CIS-IRM).
• Strong SAP ecosystem data awareness including ODATA structures functional reporting SAP Analytics Cloud Datasphere and PowerBI.
• Professional German speaking and reading capabilities.
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills with an innate ability to maintain resilience deliver under pressure and foster a strong culture of collaborative knowledge sharing.

Role Requirements

• Drive end-to-end full-stack custom application development natively inside the ServiceNow environment to fulfill automated governance objectives.
• Systematic review cleanup and optimization of existing procedural scripts legacy custom code web APIs and core platform interfaces.
• Deconstruct and transfer isolated custom legacy code patterns into the standardized upgradable ServiceNow platform framework.
• Lead the conceptualization system modeling and technical development of net-new governance and risk tracking features.
• Act as a technical partner to consulting business units and customers regarding service structures and data mapping.
• Author maintain and publish clean technical documentation user guides administration guidelines and comprehensive IT Operations manuals.
