A reputable private hospital is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to lead the finance function and provide strategic financial oversight within the facility. This role is best suited to a hands-on individual with excellent leadership abilities strong business acumen and a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Experience:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full finance function within the hospital
- Manage financial reporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts
- Monitor daily cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Review payroll processes and execute payroll payments
- Ensure SARS compliance and VAT submissions
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and month-end procedures
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Lead mentor and develop the finance team
- Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare industry regulations
- Present financial reports to operational management and board meetings
- Drive process improvements and financial efficiency initiatives
- Ensure accurate reporting within required deadlines
- Relevant Accounting qualification CA(SA) highly advantageous
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Healthcare / hospital experience is highly essential
- Strong understanding of SARS compliance and financial reporting
- Experience managing payroll functions
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Own reliable transport essential
- Clear credit record required
- Experience on Xero Sage and Draftworx would be highly beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems
