Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for finance and a talent for leadership A reputable private hospital in Mthatha Eastern Cape is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance department and play a key role in driving financial excellence within the organisation.
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for finance and a talent for leadership A reputable private hospital in Mthatha Eastern Cape is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance department and play a key role in driving financial excellence within the organisation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full finance function within the hospitalOversee financial reporting budgeting and forecasting
Prepare and present monthly management accounts
Monitor daily cash flow and prepare accurate forecasts
Review payroll processes and execute payroll payments
Ensure SARS compliance and VAT submissions
Manage month-end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Lead coach and develop the finance team
Present financial reports to management and board meetings
Drive continuous process improvements and financial efficiencies
Ensure accurate financial reporting within strict deadlines
Our Ideal Candidate:
Relevant Accounting qualification (CA(SA) highly advantageous)Minimum 3 years experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
Essential: Previous hospital or healthcare industry experience
Strong knowledge of SARS compliance VAT and financial reporting
Payroll management experience
Proven leadership and people management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Own reliable transport
Clear credit record
Experience with Xero Sage and Draftworx advantageous
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems
