We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Fibre Optic Splicer with strong leadership capabilities to manage field technicians and oversee fibre network installations maintenance testing and fault resolution.

- Perform fibre splicing on dome joints and termination panels
- Conduct OTDR OLTS and ATP testing
- Build links and perform fibre fault finding and repairs
- Install and splice termination boxes and ONTs
- Ensure successful customer activations on-site
- Generate and upload daily test results and reports
- Complete as-built reports audits and job documentation
- Upload site updates and job information to company systems
- Submit before and after photos for completed work
- Supervise fibre technicians and splicing teams in the field
- Conduct quality inspections and network audits
- Report faults damages and safety concerns promptly
- Liaise with head office planning and operations teams
- Assist with planning and operational coordination
- Attend to after-hours and weekend fibre breaks when required
- Participate in standby schedules and emergency callouts
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures
- Maintain company tools equipment and materials
- Provide professional client service and communication
- Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years fibre optic splicing experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required
- Strong OTDR and OLTS testing knowledge
- Experience with fibre fault finding and restoration
- Ability to manage and oversee multiple technicians
- Valid drivers license required
- Own reliable vehicle for daily travel to and from the office
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Willingness to work after hours and standby when required
- Experience with Centricity or similar reporting systems advantageous
