Job Summary
A Game Reserve - a luxury 5-star hospitality destination. We are looking for an ambitious creative leader to drive our culinary operations
Your Role & Responsibilities
As our Executive Chef you will lead all kitchen operations to ensure exceptional food quality and high-end service delivery
You will:
- Lead all food production menu innovation and luxury culinary concepts across all dining outlets weddings and special events
- Manage financial targets by developing strict food costing strategies stock control protocols and wastage reduction systems
- Enforce complete compliance with HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems across all kitchens and storage areas
- Mentor and develop high-performing culinary teams managing performance reviews training and scheduling
- Oversee administrative reporting including accurate recipe standardisation asset maintenance and supplier purchasing
Requirements
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in an Executive Chef or similar luxury culinary role
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Professional Cookery Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
- Certifications: HACCP and Food Safety certification is highly advantageous
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems (TallOrder experience is a plus)
- Key Attributes: Advanced food and wine knowledge strong financial acumen and a passion for 5-star service excellence
