Job Summary
Here is what you will be doing:
The Engineer delivers diverse local and international projects. Key responsibilities would be the design preparation and management of road designs and drawings using CAD and 3D modelling software.
Job Summary:
- Preparation and management geometric design models and drawings for roads and other road related structures
- Preparation and management of road geometric designs and drawings reports bill of quantities
- 3D design and modelling of roads and associated infrastructure
- Applying the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all work
- Knowledge of Geometric Design Codes Drainage Design Codes and other relevant standards will be a benefit
Qualifications :
Here is what we are looking for:
- Minimum of four years experience in the design and modelling of roads and associated infrastructure
- Proficiency in AutoCad Civil3D MicroStation Open Roads
- Good knowledge of the SANRAL and Western Cape Provincial Governments design procedures will be a benefit
- Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA Canada and Australia will be considered favourable
- Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- High competency and specialist design and 3D modelling of roads and associated infrastructure
