Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description:

As an EC&I Engineer you will be responsible for the design maintenance and optimisation of electrical control and instrumentation systems within a complex industrial environment. Youll play a critical role in ensuring process stability improving system performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise will directly impact plant uptime efficiency and automation capability.

Education:

BEng / BSc in Electrical Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
Registration with ECSA (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Strong experience in electrical systems PLCs SCADA and industrial automation
Proven ability in fault finding system diagnostics and process optimisation
Experience with instrumentation (flow pressure temperature level systems)
Solid understanding of control philosophies and process control systems
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus Profibus Ethernet/IP)
Experience in manufacturing mining FMCG or heavy industrial environments
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs control diagrams and electrical schematics
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability and efficiency
Experience in project execution commissioning and upgrades
