Finance Manager Supply Chain and Operations

A leading organisation is seeking aFinance Manager Supply Chain and Operations to lead the financial performance of a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on turning financial insights into operational improvements while partnering closely with supply chain and operational teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full financial function for the supply chain department including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and cash flow management.
• Oversee inventory accounting stock management goods in transit purchase orders and supply chain finance processes.
• Manage accruals variance analysis expense management and cost control systems to optimise business performance.
• Monitor demurrage port costs GRNI Capex and working capital while ensuring accurate balance sheet and profit and loss reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and investment opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain by identifying risks analysing trends and recommending cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures audit requirements tax regulations and supply chain governance standards.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to improve KPI performance financial controls and overall supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• 610 years finance experience within a manufacturing mining or pharmaceutical environment.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems within a manufacturing environment with experience in D365 AX QlikView TM1 or Power BI considered advantageous.
• Sound understanding of supply chain finance treasury financial accounting inventory management and working capital optimisation.
• Excellent analytical leadership stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence business performance through financial insight.
