As lead volume continues to grow the company is expanding its Documentation Team to support increasing demand while maintaining exceptional service standards.

About the Role

The Documentation Specialist will play a critical role in securing medical documentation physician signatures and patient records required to support the patient onboarding and care process.

While this is not a sales role success requires strong communication skills emotional intelligence persistence and the ability to navigate gatekeepers within physician offices. The ideal candidate understands how to build rapport influence outcomes and secure timely responses while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

This role is ideal for someone with prior healthcare documentation experience who enjoys problem-solving relationship-building and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain required documentation from physician offices and healthcare providers

  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely completion of documentation requirements

  • Build productive relationships with medical office staff and gatekeepers

  • Navigate complex documentation processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance

  • Track documentation status and maintain detailed records

  • Escalate issues or delays when necessary

  • Collaborate with intake insurance verification billing and onboarding teams

  • Ensure all records meet company and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail

Requirements
  • Previous healthcare documentation experience is required

  • Experience working with medical records physician documentation insurance processes prior authorizations or healthcare administration

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Excellent phone presence and confidence speaking with medical professionals

  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building abilities

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced process-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare administration experience

  • Insurance verification or prior authorization experience

  • Experience interacting with physician offices and healthcare providers

  • Accent-neutral English communication

  • Experience working remotely with U.S.-based teams
