Experience:
Data Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the design development and optimisation of data platforms pipelines and models.
- Translate business requirements into scalable high-quality data solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and best practice guidance across the data function.
Data Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement data architectures integration layers APIs and data marts.
- Ensure efficient data ingestion transformation and integration across systems.
- Drive platform scalability performance and continuous improvement.
Data Quality & Governance
- Establish and maintain data quality monitoring and validation processes.
- Ensure the accuracy reliability and availability of critical data assets.
- Implement data governance standards and ensure compliance with POPIA PAIA and internal policies.
- Relevant Degree in Data Engineering Computer Science Business
- 10 - 15 years experience in data-related
- 5 years in Data Management
- Experience in platforms engineering and architecture
- Understanding end-to-end data lifecycle management including retention archiving and deletion aligned to legal and business requirements.
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture data platforms and integration patterns (ETL APIs) across on-prem and cloud environments
