Job Summary
Are you a CAD Designer with experience in tooling fixtures and manufacturing environments We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the development and industrialisation of products from prototype through to production. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver practical production-ready tooling solutions.
Job Description:
- Design jigs fixtures moulds gauges and assembly aids
- Produce 3D CAD models 2D drawings BOMs and technical documentation
- Apply GD&T principles and support tooling design for manufacturability
- Support product industrialisation from prototyping through to production
- Collaborate with engineering manufacturing quality and production teams
- Assist with tooling improvements troubleshooting and supplier coordination
- Minimum 4 years experience in CAD design and development environments
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar MCAD software
- Experience with PDM systems GD&T tolerance analysis and technical drawings
- Knowledge of tooling fixtures moulds and manufacturing processes
- Experience within aerospace automotive composites or precision engineering environments advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- National Diploma BTech or equivalent technical qualification
