Job Summary

Pinetown. Established business within the Clothing industry is seeking a CAD Marker Grading and Ratings Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will have 35 years experience in a similar role be proficient in Lectra grading and marking and have the ability to work accurately under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and optimise bulk production markers using Lectra CAD
Generate accurate marker ratings fabric consumption reports and utilisation percentages
Grade garment patterns according to customer specifications and company standards
Maintain CAD pattern libraries marker files and version control
Liaise with Pattern Makers Merchandisers and Production teams to meet production deadlines
Amend markers and patterns as required for production changes
Identify opportunities to improve marker efficiency and reduce fabric waste
Support continuous improvement of CAD systems and processes

Requirements:

Matric
35 years experience in CAD marking grading and ratings within the clothing industry
Proficiency in Lectra grading and marking
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
