We are looking for a detail-driven Bookkeeper to join a leading high-volume retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers in a fast-paced stock-driven business where accuracy and structure are key.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Full-function bookkeeping up to trial balance
- Processing and reconciling supplier and customer accounts
- Bank cashbook and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end close and reporting support
- Capturing and maintaining financial data accurately across systems
- Supporting stock and inventory-related finance processes
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure financial accuracy
Requirements:
- Relevant accounting/bookkeeping qualification (Diploma or equivalent)
- 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Experience in a retail or stock-driven environment (strong advantage)
- Strong reconciliation and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience with accounting systems such as Sage Pastel SAP or similar
- Ability to work in a high-volume deadline-driven environment
