Key Responsibilities:
- Hunt down bugs before they make it to production by designing and executing both manual and automated tests
- Build maintain and enhance automation frameworks that improve test coverage increase release speed and support product quality
- Own and contribute to QA strategies ensuring products are thoroughly tested and ready for release
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features dont introduce unexpected issues into existing functionality
- Collaborate closely with developers product teams and stakeholders to understand requirements identify risks and deliver high-quality software
- Track document and communicate defects test results and release readiness throughout the development lifecycle
- Continuously improve QA processes testing practices and automation capabilities to support scalable growth
- Mentor and support junior QA team members sharing knowledge and encouraging best practices
- Drive process improvements that make testing more efficient releases more reliable and quality a shared responsibility
In short: youll be teaching computers to handle the repetitive testing catching issues before customers do and helping deliver software thats reliable scalable and built to last.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- A degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field would be great
- An ISTQB Foundation Certification is a plus
- Minimum 35 years experience in Software Quality Assurance with a proven track record of finding bugs before they find customers
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies QA best practices and the software development lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium Playwright Postman or similar. If youve taught computers to test software for you youre already speaking our language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for spotting the tiny details that everyone else misses
- Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools
- Excellent communication skills - you can explain a critical defect just as easily to a developer as you can to a non-technical stakeholder
- Comfortable working in Agile environments where priorities can move quickly and collaboration is key
- Able to work independently manage your own workload and take ownership of quality outcomes
- A natural curiosity for improving processes exploring new tools and finding smarter ways to test
- Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where innovation collaboration and continuous improvement are part of the daily routine
