Supply Chain Planner
Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to support the planning and procurement of direct materials for AbbVie Singapore ensuring timely material availability for production and technology transfer activities while maintaining appropriate inventory levels on site in close collaboration with senior planners and crossfunctional stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate material planning and supplier master data in the ERP system (e.g. Item Master Vendor Master planning records BOM MRP purchase orders) in line with established procedures.
- Review MRP outputs under guidance create purchase requisitions and follow up on purchase order deliveries to support adherence to the production schedule.
- Monitor raw material lead times safety stock settings and inventory levels and highlight variances or risks (e.g. potential shortages or excess) to the senior planner for action.
- Support daytoday import/export and order fulfillment activities by preparing documentation coordinating with logistics and brokers and helping to resolve routine issues that may impact ontime delivery.
- Assist in basic trade compliance activities such as preparing data for tariff classification country-of-origin and valuation reviews and supporting implementation of trade compliance procedures and SOPs.
- Contribute to supply chain and trade-related initiatives by providing data updating trackers and reports (e.g. trade metrics supplier performance) and supporting internal/external audits as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Engineering or a related discipline
- Approximately 35 years of experience in production planning scheduling or supply chain / materials management
- Exposure to SAP or other MRP/ERP systems for material planning purchasing or inventory management
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets (e.g. MRP outputs inventory reports) and draw basic conclusions
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and external partners while supporting delivery of targets and KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage daytoday priorities in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
- High level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and adherence to procedures and work instructions
- Resultsoriented mindset with willingness to learn take ownership of tasks and continuously improve processes
- Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing and familiarity with GMP concepts is an advantage
