Responsibilities:
Provide technical direction and leadership forNAND-related debug in SSD systems throughtriage debug and root cause of NAND-Firmware Interaction (NFI) issues.
Interface between NAND design and product teams to support enterprise SSD development.
Act as a representative to the SSD product development team andproduct quality toidentify detect and reduce risks both during product development as well as for field risks.
Conduct detailed debugging and failure analysis across firmware hardware and system interactions using lab equipment and software instrumentation.
Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency quality or effectiveness exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within ones scope of work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on experience with NAND flash non-volatile memory technologies or memory controllers.
5 years of experience in embedded firmware/software developmentor NAND technologies.
Experience in firmware verification and validation debugging and failure analysis within laboratory and system settings.
Experience with storage technologies and/or memorysystems andcollaborating with hardware teams.
Experience inleadinghighly-visibletaskforces with cross-functional deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of storage interfaces such asPCIe/NVMeand system-level storage architectures.
Proficiencyin C/C and low-level debugging in embedded environments.
Experience with high-speed signal analysis anddebug.
Strong scripting/tool development skills (e.g. Python) and experience building debug/validation automation.
Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across teams lead ambiguous problem solving and mentor engineers.
Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude Code Copilot) to drive efficient debugging root-cause analysis and rapid comprehension of complex issues.
Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and roleappropriate AI literacy to use AIenabled tools responsibly and effectively for research analysis content creation problemsolving operational tasks and achieving business outcomes
