Shipping Associate (Material Handler)

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• Read learn understand and interpret drawing/blueprints and work instructions and other instructions written or verbal to complete crating of tools / products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.
• Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and locating parts picking parts from appropriate locations specified and recording and communicating inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area workplace safety and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
• Help customers resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise.
• Maintain shipment paperwork records and digital databases and perform additional administrative clerical or managerial duties as requested.
• Support internal and other relevant departments (e.g. Planners and productions) to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time.
• The need to co-ordinate with CM to perform GR; co-ordinate with traffic and third-party warehouse to re-label shipment and release to forwarders for shipment arrangement.
• Fulfill orders by packaging necessary materials and preparing them for shipment
• Identifying and locating the right productsduring the shipping process
• Recording inventory status and making sure deliveries properly match work orders.
• Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products
• Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
• Require supporting operations during weekends and public holidays
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
• Forklift Operation certification required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience
• Diploma or equivalent
