Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operationalactivities andachieve the required KPIs as per the service contract.

• Supervises the Shift employees by overseeing their work assessing their performance enforcing policies and corrective measures being the point of contact for questions complaints and concerns and leading by example.

• Manages and executes the planned maintenance activities leads and sets the direction of the maintenance team.

• Delivering tasks ontime andmeeting the client KPIs as per the service contract.

• Ensures that employeescomply withthe company rules standards and key values at VI (acts as a role model)

• Develops employees so that they can cope with the demands of their current andpossible futurepositions Vanderlande Industries

• Assesses employees performance andbehaviour.

• Sets priorities distributesworkandmonitorsprogress and work quality.

• Ensurestimelyand complete all the assigned tasks in the department based on the schedule and priorities issued by the maintenance manager/ and the planning team.

• Ensure proper levels of supplies (spare parts tools and office supplies) andreport the consumption to the maintenance manager on a daily/weekly basis.

• Initiate process improvement plan to deliver outstanding services and improve the system performance.

• Acts independently in several technical tasks.

• Identifiesissues and solves problems that disturb the daily operation.

• Train and coach new employees and less experienced employees.

• Assistand manage other areas as needed or requested.

Required Education and Experience:

• Proven work experience as atechnicallead or similar

• Bachelors degree in electrical/mechanical/Mechatronics/ Control &Instrumentation/Manufacturing engineering.

• MS office.

• Leadership and communication skills.

• Technical Report Writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 0-3years of prior experience as maintenance supervisor/ maintenance engineerin BHS.

• Minimum of3to5years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow/ Green Belt.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Full-time position; 24/7 operation; 3 shifts; overtime weekend and holiday work. Shifts may include 1st 2nd 3rd or mid-shift. Flexibility is essential.
