The Senior Test Development Engineer is responsible for introduce new test equipment and to improve/sustain quality cost and productivity performance of existing products.

This positionreports to the Manager Engineering Applied Singapore andis part of theEngineering Applied teamlocatedinSingaporeand willbeanon-siterole.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Support in development & maintenance of Functional Circuit Tester (FCT) for PCBA and electronics subsystem
• Design and develop camera test & calibration software application
• Prepare software validation plan and perform test qualification for deployment into production
• Identify and drive cost reduction and continuous improvement projects
• Work closely with project team for new product testing development and prototype production

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Masters or good Bachelor degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in C/C C# WPF programming
• Knowledge in LabVIEW and Python programming
• Understanding in circuitry design and basic knowledge in PADS PCB
• Knowledge in analytical and problem-solving tool e.g. DOE GRR PSP Understanding in product design specification and requirements
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Manufacturing environments supporting highmix highprecision products
• Crosssite or global collaboration with R&D sourcing or production teams
