About the role
You will own the end-to-end delivery strategy for complex tightly integrated hardware-software-power systems programmes from concept through SOP and manufacturing ramp. You are the technical authority and decision-maker who understands hardware firmware and power systems as a single integrated system. You will drive programmes by solving problems unblocking teams and making system-level technical trade-offs that keep programmes on track and prevent late-stage surprises.
This is not an administrative or coordinating role. You will get hands-on with technical challenges push back on unrealistic plans challenge software readiness flag integration risks early and drive decisions forward. Youll operate with full ownership mentality across hardware firmware architecture integration strategy and build validation. Youll work directly with engineering teams supply chain manufacturing and external partners not through layers of process.
As the team scales youll develop other technical leaders and establish standards for how we approach complex programme delivery but your core strength will always be technical judgement problem-solving and the ability to make things happen.
Define and own the delivery strategy for complex HW-SW-PS programmes integration sequencing build approaches validation strategies and reshape them as technical realities emerge
Operate at system level making technical trade-off decisions across hardware firmware and power systems to keep programmes on track and avoid downstream catastrophes
Engage deeply in firmware maturity and software architecture discussions challenge readiness probe integration points and ensure SW aligns with hardware milestones and manufacturing constraints
Identify integration risks early and drive resolution with technical credibility not escalation unblock teams push back on naive approaches surface hard truths
Own key programme milestones (EVT DVT PVT) end-to-end readiness planning validation strategy qualification production readiness and drive through with minimal surprises
Work directly with engineering teams supply chain manufacturing and JDM/ODM partners to solve problems and remove blockers hands-on when needed
Maintain clear honest visibility on programme health and critical issues communicate facts not politics to leadership
Build and mentor other technical leaders who share the same can do problem-solving mindset establishing a culture of technical excellence and ownership
About you
You have 10 years of experience delivering complex hardware software or systems programmes in engineering-driven organisations. You hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Computer Science Mechanical Engineering Robotics or a relevant STEM field. You bring:

Proven delivery track record Youve shipped complex programmes with tightly coupled hardware and software. You understand build strategies validation planning and how to keep programmes predictable.
Direct communication You speak truth clearly and directly. You challenge unrealistic plans flag risks early and dont hide bad news in process or jargon.
Cross-functional influence You build credibility with engineering teams supply chain manufacturing and senior leaders through technical insight not organisational position.
Hands-on problem-solving Youre not afraid to dig into technical problems work with teams to solve issues and get involved where needed.
