The R&D Technician supports advanced chemical cleaning operations for R&D qualification and production. This role is responsible not only for executing cleaning processes but also for supporting the introduction qualification and safe use of new chemistries to enhance product performance and enable the development of improved filtration solutions. Working closely with Engineers EHS and cross-functional teams the technician ensures compliance with safety chemical governance and process requirements. The role also involves hands-on tasks such as equipment operation basic troubleshooting and component/fitting preparation.
This positionreports to theR&D Supervisor and is part of the Global R&D organization located in Singapore. This is an onsite role.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Support evaluation introduction and qualification of new chemicals and processes to enhance product performance and develop improved filtration solutions to execute cleaning process on filter cleaning equipment including data analysis and report preparation
- Handle end-to-end chemical workflow including receiving labeling storage preparation transfer and usage.
- Perform hands-on assembly fabrication and preparation of fittings manifolds and product-related components to support cleaning and R&D activities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering Chemistry Materials Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment or clean room environment.
- Experience in chemical processes wet cleaning or chemical handling in manufacturing or R&D environments is preferred.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity with hazardous material handling and regulatory requirements for storage transport and disposal
