Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage offshore marine construction projects from tender award through execution completion and project close-out ensuring delivery within scope budget schedule and quality requirements
- Plan coordinate and supervise marine construction activities including subsea cable installation offshore structures marine civil works heavy lifting dredging and vessel operations
- Develop detailed project execution plans work schedules resource allocation risk assessments and mitigation strategies to achieve project objectives
- Coordinate with clients consultants subcontractors classification societies port authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage project budgets cost control procurement activities contract administration and change order management to maximize project profitability
- Monitor project progress identify risks and critical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure safe and timely project delivery
- Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations company policies international maritime standards and client-specific requirements while promoting a strong safety culture
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams including marine superintendents engineers vessel crews subcontractors and site personnel to achieve operational excellence
- Prepare and present project reports progress updates financial forecasts and executive summaries for senior management and clients
- Support business development activities by participating in technical proposals tender reviews client presentations and project planning for future marine construction opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Marine Engineering Naval Architecture Civil Engineering Offshore Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience in marine construction offshore construction subsea cable installation dredging offshore renewable energy or marine infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience managing offshore vessels marine operations subcontractors budgets schedules contract administration and multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong knowledge of marine construction methodologies project management principles HSE practices risk management and international maritime standards; PMP certification is highly advantageous
- Excellent leadership stakeholder management communication negotiation and problem-solving skills with willingness to travel offshore and internationally when required
