The Transaction Platform team powers Grabs multi-billion-dollar Deliveries business across Southeast Asia. We build the core platforms that orchestrate every order payment refund dispute and merchant transaction at massive scale. Get to Know the Role 

As a Principal Product Manager you will define the long-term vision and strategy for Grabs merchant transaction platform. Youll lead the evolution of mission-critical systems that power millions of orders daily working at the intersection of distributed systems financial integrity and large-scale operational workflows. This is a highly strategic platform role requiring deep technical judgment systems thinking and the ability to influence engineering business and operational leaders across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define Platform Strategy: Own the long-term product vision and roadmap for Grabs merchant transaction platform driving architectural investments that enable scale reliability and future business growth.
• Build High-Scale Platform Capabilities: Design and launch foundational platform services spanning order lifecycle management merchant operations dispute resolution and transactional integrity.
• Solve Complex Platform Problems: Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify complex multi-party workflows ensuring accurate reliable and resilient transaction processing across the ecosystem.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Develop intelligent platform capabilities that reduce merchant downtime improve operational governance and recover merchant demand through smarter automation permissions auditing and risk controls.
• Influence Across the Organization: Partner with engineering operations finance legal and commercial leaders to align technical investments with business priorities and drive execution across multiple teams.

Qualifications :

Essential Skills

• At least 8 years of Product Management experience with significant ownership of large-scale platform products such as transaction processing payments commerce platforms order management financial systems or distributed backend infrastructure.
• Strong technical and systems thinking with the ability to understand complex architectures reason about distributed systems and make sound platform trade-offs.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills using data experimentation and technical insights to identify opportunities and guide product decisions.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills with a proven ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse cross-functional teams across engineering operations finance legal and commercial organizations.
