PEI has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly proactive Office Manager to join the Asia Pacific HR team. The role is based in Singapore and will oversee office operations across the Asia Pacific region. Weare lookingfora personable andhands on OfficeManagerwhocan cover the whole of the employee experience. The position holder will be pivotal to engagement with employees through the coordination and driving of Culture and Inclusion activities in conjunction with the HR Department. Wearelookingforsomeonewithstrongofficemanagement experience ableto strategically think aboutand planfor the futurewell-being of employeesboth in the office and those working remotely.
Duetothistheidealcandidatecanexpect amixtureofBAUandprojectworkwhichwillcomewith the opportunity to help shape the HR and people function.
Responsibilitiesandduties:
Manage and oversee all office operations and administrative functions mainly in Singapore but also involve in supporting the other offices in Asia Pacific
As required coordinate office renovation fixture and fittings maintenance and repair
Ensuring that the office functions smoothly including ensuring that office supplies remain in stock and in an orderly fashion filing is complete post is sorted etc.
Meeting and greeting clients and other office visitors
Liaising with building management and external contractors for any maintenance issues
Working closely with IT to ensure the office is functional and accessible
Ensure health and safety procedures are up to date and carried out
Plan and execute team social events in Asia Pacific
Support the wider HR team with on and off boarding logistics
Work through employee engagement wellness and wellbeing initiatives within the office space
Fast learner and a passion for personnel and space management
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Personable professional and pro-active
Ability to work independently
Self-motivated and willing to take responsibility
Innovative: able to lead by example from the front
Comfortable operating in a grown-up working environment where regular feedback is provided and the eyes of several (senior) interested parties will always be focused
Resilient under pressure able to remain focused in the face of multiple competing priorities and ensure key deadlines
Diplomacy: able to display multi-faceted communication skills in a persuasive but diplomatic way to ensure that outstanding results are achieved and the right deadlines and initiatives get prioritised
