Job Summary**

Responsible for the efficient movement storage and handling of materials within Hitachi Ltd. facilities ensuring production continuity and inventory accuracy.

Job Responsibilities**

* Receive unload and inspect incoming materials verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing lists.
* Safely operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move materials to designated storage locations or production areas.
* Pick and stage materials for production lines ensuring accurate quantities and timely delivery to meet manufacturing schedules.
* Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of material movement and stock levels using inventory management systems.
* Prepare materials for shipment including packaging labeling and loading onto trucks or containers.
* Identify and report any discrepancies damages or quality issues with materials.
* Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
* Assist with general warehouse duties as needed including housekeeping and equipment maintenance.

Job Qualifications**

* Secondary school education or equivalent.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment as a Material Handler.
* Proven ability to safely operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment (certification by Singapore approved training centers preferred).
* Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 15 kg).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in material handling.
